Katie Bates is an art graduate from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a focus in graphic design and a minor in marketing. When she’s not working her nose is in a good book or crocheting something new. 

Katie recently won a Student Silver ADDY for her logo design for Clover's Books & Bindings. Her graphic design poster Cholla hung at the Gadsden Museum of Art at the beginning of 2024, and many of her risograph prints sold at Gobble Gobble Fest at Lowe Mill towards the end of 2023. 

Through her education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham her work centered around branding, art direction, print, and illustration.
